    quick question:
we are a building an online broadband television channel in the uk. at the moment we are editing pieces together and then keeping the tapes but erasing the captured footage from our computer. all we are left with is the edit sequence, and should we want to change anything after a while, we would have to re-capture the tapes used. which is the best way to organize storage and keep files? we can buy a few terabytes, and store captured footage for a few months, but then we would ran out of space.
any advice please? i just dont know where to start.

Place the tapes and a burned CD with the Project File and any other supporting files, graphics and music on a shelf in a cool, dry place. Ideally, in a fire proof, water proof vault. What? You don’t have a vault? 😉

If you live in a major market, there are places doing business for safely storing your media.
