StorageDNA LTO6 file previews
We use Storage DNA’s DNA Evolution system for LTO 6 backups of footage from a terrablock. The issue we have is limited space on the terrablock, so we’re constantly backing up to LTO and wiping workspaces. When we recall footage from LTO we’d like to be able to preview the clips first. I Can’t find much online about this, but have been told by SDNA that telestream’s “episode” or “vantage” software will transcode the footage in a watch folder before it’s backed up to LTO, and will work within the SDNA web GUI to allow us to preview clips. Has anybody ever used this system, or can you offer a better solution? Any help is always appreciated.
