Storage Solution Recomendation Please
I am about to add extra drives to my XRaid and will need to restripe the entire raid. I am looking for a suggestion for and inexpensive, i.e I don’t care about transfer rates, raid 5 solution for temporary storage. I have looked at a couple of LACIE firwire raids that might do the trick, but before I make the purchase I wanted to ask the herd what they thought.

RAID 3. Worth considering, as I’ve had better luck with G-Technology than LaCie. I also seem to hear fewer complaints about G-Tech drives in general.
That being said I have not used this G-Tech product, and the LaCie FW 800 RAID 5 unit I did use was terrific.
