  stopping and starting footage

  Hi

  Relatively new to expressions scripting so forgive me if this is really basic.

  I have multiple clips scrolling across the screen, set up as 3D layers, so there can be as many as a dozen clips visible at any one time, all the motion and z-depth setting is done with expressions. This part I have working…

  Now I need to start the footage of each individual clip playing when it enters from screen right and stop it after it leaves screen left, I’m guessing that maybe I can script time remapping (or something more basic like a ‘play/pause’ kind of function) but have no idea where to look. If it’s possible to fade the audio levels up and down at the same points that would be even better!

  Any ideas?
