    Hi all,
I’ve been using this forum for quite some time now getting much needed information, but this is my first post.

I’m an offline editor working on an Avid 5 software based pc. I’m starting a project which is a music clip based on a large series of still pictures. The clip was directed as a stop-motion and shot with a still camera. The images are RAW and were converted into jpeg’s 2496×1664 for offline editing purposes. After the editing the clip would go into online editing for color correction using After Effect.

I would appreciate any help with the project settings. My guess would be to use these settings: 1080p/25 1920×1080. The second question regards the replacing of the jpeg’s with the RAW once the offline editing is done. Is it possible? What would be the best approach for the issue of replacing the files – either in Avid or After Effect.

    Thanks ahead,
    Noam

I’m not quite following your workflow. If AE is only gonna be used for cc, man, just bust that out in Avid.
As for replacing files, a simple batch import after deleting will do that fine. You’ll, of course, have more control over the images in AE throughout the process.
