hi everyone, im new here, forgive the immature namesake. im interested in Stop Motion Animation, and have figured out how to do it on AdobePP 2.0..i imported my pictures into the editing timeline, and it defaults them to like 10second display cycles or something like that, i found that out putting the video, then re rendering it at like 10000% speed looks fine, then of course plug in sound later. any easier ways or suggestions? im familiar with most of the terminology, and have made enough silly videos to know the workflow. just looking for a way to streamline the process, any help is appreciated.

A slightly easier method would be to set the desired duration for each still in advance (before importing); Edit>Preferences>General

make sure all your images have the same filename + sequential numbers ( image001, image002, image003 and so on) and when importing just choose the first image and check the “Numbered Stills” option on the bottom of the import window.
Your image sequence will now be imported as a movie clip with each image as a single frame.

Could it be that you are highlighting ALL the jpg’s you want to import?
You just need to highlight the first one then check “numbered stills”.
Also, if possible, Targa or Tiff sequences are preferred formats as they are not compressed as jpg’s.

You have to select all the files you want to import to PP2 before you can select the ‘numbered stills’ checkbox.
