    Hi everyone,
I’m doing a prjocet in which I’ll need to do “kind of” stop motion technic i.e: take one or two frame per second. I already shot the scenes.

My question: is there a way in AE do to that kind of thing: ask AE to pick one frame every 10 frames ???

Thak you all for your help

Main interpretation to desired frame rate and speed adjusted to match existing footage. It’s rough, but simple.

    Sounds like you might need:

    effect/time/posterize time

Set the frame rate to 3 and you should get the look you want.

… you might consider strobing the video to get the effect also… that may be easier but you may not get the same effect. Besides, if I was going to do a strobe effect… I would prefer to use dedicated editing software.

Thank you all for your help…

In fact I realised that I explained what I want the wrong way :
What I need to do is to take one frame every 10 frames (or so) and put it in the timeline and strecht that frame for 10 frames and cross/dissolve with the next frame and so on !
I can do that in Premiere, but I was wondering if there is a easiest way to do it in AE ?
If you have a clue or any idea to help !!!

    Thank you all
