Stop Motion
Hey I am making a stop motion project and I am shooting it with my DSLR. I have converted the pictures to TIFFS and want to have them fall in a sequential order on the timeline they begin at 01 and end at 650. Is there a function either in AE or FCP that will allow me to drop them in the timeline and have them follow the number assigned to them by the camera like a targa sequence? I trying to avoid dropping them in the timeline individually.

yep, import them as an image sequence… i know this can easily be done in ae and i’m sure it can be done in fcp too.
in ae, once you have imported it, you’ll treat it as footage. by default the sequnce will come into ae as 30 fps. if you need to adjust the frame rate, you’ll do that in the interpret footage settings.
