Stop Frame
Hi everyone. I was wondering if there was an easier way to import jpegs into FCP with them all being a length of 1 frame long. I want to import about 6500 jpegs to create a stop frame animation and they default to 250 frames in length. If I am able to import all jpegs into the browser window at 1 frame long then it would just be a matter of selecting all the images and dragging it onto the timeline and exporting the clip. At the moment I need to change the length of all images in the browser before dragging onto the timeline and this is not possible to change multiple images length at a time.
I am using FCP 5.0.1

In User Prefs > Editing, change the still/freeze duration to :01. I think that will do it.

In your preferences, you can change the default length.
You can also globally change the duration of all your stills in your timeline. Select all your stills and select change duration.

You can do this in QuickTime Pro. Import the folder as an image sequence.
