Stop Frame – Turning a series of photos into an animation using After Effects.
I’ve only recently begun using After effects, in hope to get into claymation. I need to know how to make after effects flick through a series of photos turning them into an animation.
As it stands, i’m opening all the photos as a new project, then dragging them down into the timeline. At this point this just allows me to play each photo as an individual piece. Not run through them all as an animation.
I can’t find any tutorials explaining this, so if anyone is able to help that would be awsome.

That was awsome – Though it wasn’t quite what I meant. In that tutorial they were trying to animate layers from a photoshop file. I’m looking to import like, a couple hundered photos and have it flick through them. In each photo my character will have moved slightly, so when I play them all he appears to be moving.
Any other suggestions?

Okay – So I have that down now. Claymation needs a hell of a lot of photos to look smooth. Is there a way to blend the images into each other better so the movements look less rigid?
