  • Stop expand function over the limit

    Hi,

I would like to know if there’s a way to stop the expand function to go over the limits of the original footage and creating black frames (or silence for audio). I’m using Vegas Studio 9b.

    Thanks

I don’t want it to do a loop. What if I shorten an audio track and then I want to put it back exactly at the last “real” frame?

Not sure what you are asking. Can you explain further?

After cropping audio (or video), what can I do to put it back like it was before. Now, I can drag the track as long as I want and it will never stop because it creates silence instead of just stopping where there’s no more footage (like in all other editing program).

When you drag out a video event and go past the end of the event it will either create a still of the last frame and continue giving you that still or it will loop and start playing the beginning of the clip again. The point where this happens will be noted on the time line with a notch in the top of the track. Does that help?
