    Hi You Pros out there,

    Just making sure we are efficiently submitting our P2 Footage:

    Footage is exported as Quick Time Movies in Apple Pro Res 422, 1280×720, 30fps
    files are averaging 70-90 mb per shot (10 sec shot)

    Are these file sizes necessary?
    I tried using DVCproHD and I believe the sizes were smaller.

    That’s MBs right, not mbs.

    Seems about right to me @ 30fps.

    My question had more to do with outputting QT files.
    Either in Prores 422
    or
    DVC PRO HD

    The file sizes are considerably different though the imagery looks similar. Is this like the JPG/TIFF situation with stills?
