  • Stills import at 2x the size in 60fps sequence

I filmed a long time-lapse sequence, and created a 29.97 sequence in which I imported each still as a frame each. This was still a bit long for my time lapse, so it seemed natural to try for a 60fps sequence to double the speed.

Now I created a 60fps sequence, and re-imported the stills (after deleted the project references from earlier). My user prefs still show that stills are to be imported at a length of 1 frame, but they all show up in the 60fps sequence at two frames long. Everything is doubled – if I change the still size to five frames, it imports as a 10 frame still, etc.

What am I missing? Sorry this is a quick post – if I missed any important system details I’ll be glad to fill in the gaps.

    Thanks!

If your timelapse was too slow in the 29.97 sequence, then render as a quicktime file and then speed it up in a 29.97 sequence. If you make a sequence in a 60 frame project and then put that back into a 29.97 it will run at half speed and look the same anyway

OK, I’ll do that – thanks for the input!
