  Still no HD closed caption support with non-AVID i/o hardware in MC 6.0

  Spent the last hour reading the info on AVID web site about MC 6.0 and their move to open hardware. Just when I thought AVID has finally got it right, I read the small print that their new MC 6.0 still does not support Ancillary Data with third party hardware. Which would appear to mean that a full year after MC 5.0 offered impressive new closed captioning capabilities working with CPC, AVID still does not support HD captioning via any hardware other their own over priced and under featured i/o hardware.
