Still Images Using Uncompressed 10-Bit Don’t Play Smoothly
We’ve used uncompressed 10-bit for still images on our timeline so they look their very best, but now they don’t play smoothly.
I’ve got a fast hard drive but I’m guessing that because we normally don’t cut uncompressed, it’s set for a slower throughput speed. How do I adjust it to run at it’s fastest speed?
It’s a G-Speed 3000 FC-R. Thank you.

Meaning you are editing in a 10bit timeline?
What format and frame rate? What kind of speed are you getting on your raid?

Do you have your Sequence > Render > Full checked or unchecked? If unchecked, check them and re-render.

Also, are you viewing them fully rendered in an NTSC monitor? If you are judging based on what’s in your canvas, they can look soft, especially if the canvas size is not set to 100%.
