    Hi there

I’m adding some basic movements to stills and, once rendered, they appear like this in playback:

Can anyone explain how I can avoid this, I’ve searched similar posts and have tried a few different file formats(|PNG, TIFF, JPg, PSD) as well as resizing the large hi-res images I’m dealing with but the same thing keeps happening. Before I render them they appear fine, which is pretty annoying!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What’s the source of this image? It looks like it could come from dot matrix patterning of a scaled image.

    All the best,

    Tom

My suggestion would be to send the image to motion, program the move there, then roundtrip back to FCP and export. I’ve nearly ripped my hair out getting FCP to work properly with images.
