Still images looking terrible
Hello all,
Im dealing with a bit of an annoyance here. I am wrapping up a project in CS5, I have a few still images that were given to me to use for the opening credits, however after taking the sequence into Encore they lose all of their quality. I am working in a 1920×1080 sequence, stills are the same size and have tried all sorts of different still formats. Tif, JPEG, PSD all look the same after dynamic linking to Encore. Am I just doing something wrong here? The footage looks great, but these pesky still frames are killing me. I would just remake them with the title tool, but there are some graphics and whatnot included.

When you say the stills look bad in Encore, are you talking about the Preview window? Have you actually output a DVD or Blu-ray disc to see how they really look in the end?
