Still Image Sequence – Is there a quicker way?
Hi there,
I am adding several still images (stop animation) to a project (about 600 or so), yet because the codec is like ‘olympus#a102, olympus#a103, olympus#a104’, when I try to import that mass pictures as a still image sequence it doesn’t work because the tickbox goes grey and it doesn’t recognise it as a sequence. I have tried selecting all the images and pressing f2 to rename the first one, but sadly this doesn’t work either.
I would like it to just go ‘g1, g2, g3, g4..’, but the software I have tried out there is very complicated. If anybody could give me a hand in explaining sort of of freeware to me and how to rename 600 files automatically, I would be VERY grateful!

I use the free Bulk Rename Utility. It takes a few minutes to understand because there are a lot of options but for simple sequential naming there are only two fields you need to be concerned with and it becomes very easy to use.
