I am doing a short music video and all I have are some pictures. Anyone have any direction they can point me in. The pictures are of one of those emo myspace girls. I will take any suggestions. (Also I don’t want it to look like a slide show.)

any one of millions of ideas come to mind. Try playing with after effects’ 3d space
and moving the various images around in 3d space in creative ways. I would suggest viewing other peoples work, watch some cable tv stuff to find some inspiration. Ideas are everywhere,
    good luck

I’m a big fan of the 2.5D effect, 2-dimensional cutouts arranged in 3-d space.

Clip the girl out of her backgrouds in the images using photoshop, and stack her in layers in the Z axis in your editing or compositing application.

Alternate layers of her pics with clip art or 3-d models and props from some place like Turbosquid, or buy some cleared clip art that’s relevant.

Or make a lot of typograpghy for keywords and lyrics or whatever, and use those, like moving trains crossing the camera and acting like living wipes to reveal new layers.

Make your virtual camera glide thru the composition, in and around the prop items and over, around, and past the stills.

I never get tired of watching this kind of thing.
