Im using particular to make these streaks of light. I have them attached to a light that I keyframed from one point to another (just 2 keyframes). Then pulled the bezier handles to make the straight line have a bit of curve to it but when my particular streak follows it it makes these rude looking straight lines thru the curves. how can I fix this? thanks so much ppl!

Found this post tip but cant find “Position Subframe”. Go into the “Position Subframe” and try “10x Linear” or higher.

What version of Particular are you using? To my knowledge only v2 has that option, so if you’re on a previous one you can look long and hard for it and you won’t find one.
Here’s a link to a great tutorial that describes the option in Particular 2:

Its the 1st Particular. Is there anything I can do to get the sharp path lines to be more smooth?

Not really, that’s why the Subframe option was included in v2.

yes you can… it can track lights with subframe sampling… you can also try to increse your composition’s frame rate, and then reimport that into your desired fps (up to 99 i think, so it has a limit too)

that tutorial will explain it to you.
