I have a photoshop file that I was using some layer styles on. I didn’t want the layer styles editable in AE so made the elements into flat layers by merging them with empty layers. Then when I imported the file into AE it still had editable layer styles even though I had flattened it, and also the stroke style did not translate. What’s the deal. Why is it reading layer styles one a layer that doesn’t have layer styles. This never happend until I upgraded to CS3’s. Anyone know why this happened. or the propper way to rid a file of layer styles b/c it’s important on the FCP side of things.
