  • Stereo Pair multiple clips at once?

I have a bunch of clips laid out on my timeline, and I need to stereo pair them. I know I can go through the timeline one by one and hit option+L, but if I select multiple clips I cant stereo them all at once. Even when I go to the menu modify>stereo pair the option is grey’d out. Is there a way I could select all the clips on my timeline and stereo them at once?

They are captured on a separate audio recorder onto a flash card and I bring the files into FCP, I only mention this because I assume someone would tell me to capture in stereo to begin with. Thank you for any help you can lend.

Someone might have a better idea, but you could put all your audio in a bin, make sure the Audio column is showing, export a batch list, global replace to change all the “2 Mono” in the batch list to “1 Stereo”, reimport the batch list, and try to reconnect to the clips.

I haven’t tried it, but it might work
