  • Stereo Pair – Can’t pan audio to center

Hi! The audio on the show I’m working on has stereo pairs for audio – Channel 1 on the Left, channel two on the right. I only need one channel – so I unlinked the stereo pairs.

With the remaining audio channel, I put the pan to 0 – but it still only plays out on the right side. I’ve tried panning to 1 and to -1, getting the same result.

What am I working with here? Somehow have never encountered this before.

    Thanks!

can you get anything out the right cnael?
    maybe your wiring is faulty

are you playing your clips in the timeline?
could be you have audio outputs set to dual mono with the outputs benign sent to specific channels?

if you are playing in the viewer, maybe you are mistakenly adjusting the VOLUME, not the PAN.

    Hi Gordon.

Have you tried going to your audio export settings and selecting export as mono ?
