stereo clip in double audio tracks but does not play stereo
Hello folks,
I researched my issue a bit but can’t find a fix.
I have a sequence in which I synced the sound with Plural Eyes. The audio was 2 mono tracks from the camera and one stereo track from a recorder. When brought back, the XML from Plural Eyes, it now gives me two mono tracks for the stereo track. That’s better for me for working. However the tracks are playing mono so I guess the left is also in right and the right also in left which makes my sequence with mono sound. How can I fix this ?

View > audio mixer. Assuming you have a stereo master track, just pan one mono track full left and the other full right.

However, I’m having trouble with the read/write/touch mode of the mixer.
I put it in write mode, I do the pan and when I get back to the sequence, my change is not there anymore.motion pictures + storytelling = ?

You do not need to put the mixer in write mode. Since you are keeping pans in one setting there is no need to automate, unless I’m missing something. You can turn automation fully off or (if you’re automating other things) then delete the pan keyframes you’ve created.

Use the clip mixer, not the track mixer. No need to set the mode. Just pan 1 to the left and 2 to the right.

Ok, I now I am starting to understand the concept.
How do I access this clip mixer ? Because I seem to always get the mixer for the sequence which has all the audio tracks.motion pictures + storytelling = ?

Ok. I found it. I just put the thing on “off” and then is actually works. Interesting. Thanks.
