I’ve been trying to load an .mov file with an MPEG codec into Premiere Pro 2017. I’ve tried loading it into PRemiere PR0 2015, and Premiere Pro Cs5 without success. VLC and Quicktime 10.4 will this particular .mov file that I am not able to load into Premiere Pro 2017. I wonder if VLC and Quicktime 10.4 have something that Premiere Pro 2017 doesn’t have. Thoughts?

Where did this MOV file come from? What specs about it do you have regarding frame rate, resolution, etc.?

    System:
    Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
    Win 7 64-bit
    32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2015.02 (as of 6/2016)
    256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from HD MP4 and P2 MXF.
