Thanks for all the information. However some of it is over my head and it sounds like you’re speaking a foreign language at times. But I’m learning. I think based on the projects I shoot currently I can get by with a couple of upgrades on my system but may be limited to the length and complexity of my projects.

Sorry… I used to design personal computer hardware, I can get kind of technical from time to time 🙂 But yeah, digital video really is a different language, and PCs another one still.

So just to confirm. Will I have to convert the files before I can edit in Vegas? Or is it as easy as drag n drop into the timeline?
