    Hi!

I have a question – and Google and the Forums couldn’t help me.

Apparently there was a plugin by the makers of Boujou called “Steadymove” for PremierePro that must have existed up until 2009 – but now it just seems to have disappeared and no information seems to exist if it is now called something else or if it just disappeared.

    Does anyone here know?

Or is there a better solution for stabilizing footage in Premiere Pro?

I have a lot of camcorder .mts files and I don’t want to convert them into a format that After Effects can recognize, then track and stabilize them all.

    Thanks!
    Joe

Steady move went out with CS3 (i think).
AE reconizes mts from CS4 up. Anyway mine does.

As Ann suggests, I don’t see any reason why importing these files into After Effects would be a problem. After Effects and Premiere Pro share the same importing components for MPEG formats.

SteadyMove .1 Plug- in should be still available from 2D3 for 1.5 and 2 Premiere Pro , I stll use it. Try Adobe Downloads or go to 2D3 Web site which is German . Send, e-mail and they should provide a link.It is 5 years old but, the non pro version is still pretty good.

    I still use it.

Steadymove worked in CS3, but they never got a version to work in CS4 correctly, which is a shame.

I haven’t tried any of the other plugins for stabilizing footage…. I’m interested in which the folks like for CS5….

Another alternative plug-in is Mercalli. Works in all CS-versions.
