    Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to keep a mask stationary on a animated item? For example I have some lines twirling around a person that is rotating and animating but I need to mask out certain parts of the body to make it seem like the lines are traveling behind the person. Is there some way to unlink it from the group or not make it move with the animation?

    Thanks!

Put the mask on the group containing the animated layers you want to mask.

Thats just it though, the mask is moving with the layers in that group. I’m trying to animate a group of layers and have a mask be stationary.

Then put your animated group into another group and put the mask on the stationary group.
