static noise from macbook pro
I was so excited to get my new macbook pro because my older one had an issue with the headphone jack. Every time I would wake up the computer from sleeping or open up any kind of program that had sound, a static noise would come out of the headphones. The noise would not stop until 30 seconds to a minute after I would close out of the given program. This drove me nuts.
So I got my new computer and I have the exact same problem. It happens regardless of whether I’m plugged into the wall of just running on battery power. It happens with headphone or speakers. I did a google search and apparently I’m not alone.
Does anyone else have this problem? Or more importantly, does anyone know how to fix it?
