  Static image in Trimmer window

  Vegas 9c build896. In the trimmer window I don’t have full motion along the timeline, just a still frame. Audio works fine. What gives?

  and an aside…
  In Prefs/Preview Device why would I want to “recompress edited frames”…wouldn’t that make for a small generation/quality loss. Why do I want to recompress. Thx
