  State of the art in monitors?

  To the lucky (and tired) ones who are just returning from NAB: Did you notice a new “sweet spot” in production monitors?

  Portable, 15-17″ range, accurate color, SDI/component/HDMI inputs, LUTS, light weight — who do you think rules the roost now? My current monitors are 1920×1080 or less; is there any point to UHD/4k monitoring? Or are there other factors?
