My friend has an iBook G4 and recently installed some updates for QT, iTunes, and OSX and she says that since then, when she goes to start up the computer it takes a really really long time to load past the apple logo…then…once it gets past that and onto the next screen, that also takes a really long time.

She says it eventually boots up but she’s afraid of turning her computer on and off now because of this. Is this something that needs fixing professionally or is this just a bug of some sort thats causing this? Please help…thanks

    Bones
