    Hi everyone,

I did my first project using After Effects with a Live Action a couple of months ago…I would like to start a new project (length doesn’t matter) I’m just trying to build up a small portfolio, and I’m curious for all you Motion Graphics artists—how do you start out with a new project with animation or live action piece? My friend told me to look around my room and look at stuff that I could animate or incorporate in a piece and go from there….any suggestions?

Umm,, there is no step by step answer on creativity.

Might I suggest frequenting an art museum, reading design books, take long hikes in nature, sketch, think?

There are no shortage of articles on creativity and thought process… but your post has no reason to be in a tech support forum.

Please try your search for inspiration in a more inspiring place.
