Start Trim Path Making Dashed Line Dance
I have created a dashed line on a shape layer and added a Trim Path and I’m trying to animate the start point towards the end point, but it’s making the dashes dance around. I suppose I could delete the path and start it from the other end and then animated the End Trim Path (I’ve noticed the end path doesn’t make the dashes dance), but I was just wondering if there is a quicker workaround?

You can just reverse the direction of the path. There’s a little button next to the path property in the timeline panel that looks like this:
