start a tool though scripting
Hi, could you guys help me out?
Is there a way to call a tool, like a pen tool’ (G shortcut) through scripting?
I know that are adobe commands that i can call/search some menu items.
But i didnt find it. Thanks anyway. -

As of after effects 2017, this should be done with
app.project.toolType = ToolType.Tool_Pen;
