I have a time lapse with each frame on a separate layer. Since each photo is about a month apart, there are variations in exposure, color, etc. I’m trying to figure out a way to match/stabilize the color and exposure across layers.

I know about the color stabilizer effect, but that only seems to work on a single layer image sequence. This is just a collection of stills and I have each of my stills on a separate layer and I’m doing transitions between them.

Note: I did all of the image alignment in Photoshop with each image as layer and that is imported into After Effects. If this is easier to do in Photoshop, I have no problem going that route.

Have you tried color stabilizer on an adjustment layer?
