    Hello CC Crew!

I’m looking to rent a stabilizing body-cam system for a live stream-ed shoot that will require a wireless cameraman to be all over a massive area, weaving, dodging, interviewing, “hurdling” (stepping over things knee height), and more. We’re using the larger broad-cast quality cameras (not sure on the models), so they’re quite heavy and bulky, which has created some vomit-inducing moments on our live-stream, and much steam out of the ears of my boss (but I agree with him).

The EasyRig Vario 5 seems decent, but many use a gimbal-ed rig with it, which won’t work with their large cameras. Maybe, the Glidecam X-30 or X-45 system?

Any product advice/experience/tips is greatly appreciated.

Hope you all are having a great day!

    Take care,
    -Alex-

Real Steadicam operators come with the rig, and are charging lower prices these days in light of all the competition, and I think this is what you want if the camera indeed is that large and heavy. Or get a DJI Osmo and attach it and all your streaming gear to a Manfrotto FigRig. or, backpack all the gear and just run a cable to the Osmo.
