  Stabilizer for light shakes

  I’m mostly having trouble with stabilizing light shaking footage.
  Handheld shots with big moves are easier to handle –
  but whenever the image has a tiny, constant shake (like from a monopod) –
  the stabilizer results are mostly worse than the original.
  The entire image looks like a wobbling jelly-ish mess afterwards.
  So does anyone of you know of a stabilizer for these situations ?
  I’ve tried AVID, After Effects and Mercalli so far.
  They work fine for screwed-up shots, but seem to
  fail with mini-shakes.
