Stabilize crashes every time

My VP13 is chugging along just fine, with the exception of Sony stabilize which crashes every time I try to apply it as a media fx on a clip. Any ideas out there?
We probably will need a little bit more data on your media. It should be noted that the old Stabilize plugin that is available in VP 13 was not designed to be used with media with a higher resolution then HD and is very susceptible to crashing when applied to media larger than full HD.
