Stabilization workflow
When you’re using AE CS5 to stabilize video clips for a Premiere Pro CS5 project, would you stabilize the clips and then bring them into PP compositions before doing any work in PP, or is the stabilization one of the last steps after you’re done editing in PP?

By running it on the edited clip you minimize the efforts in stabilizing.
I’d use mocha for the sabilization as it uses a much more forgiving process. Learn up on it first. It’s not as hard as it may appear.
Stabilizing can take a long time to process so doing it to the entire clip when all you want is a small amount of it you can cut down on processing times. And te amount of stabilizing may not be as severe at certain parts of a clip.

Thanks. That makes a lot of sense. I’m planning to use Mocha. I’ve never used AE, so I’m trying to learn how to move projects back and forth between AE and PP.
If I want to scale up the clip after stabilizing, is that something you do in AE or PP?
