Setting preferences to 8 bit from 32 bit got sony stabilizer working, but not a very good plugin!

Videodub deshaker is a better stabilizer.

Downloaded the trial version of newbluefx stabilizer and it constantly crashes with VP11. It’s made for VP10, but since it’s an “open” plugin shouldn’t it work with 11? Seems like it should, but doesn’t.

Wrote Newbluefx about compatibility, no word yet. looks like I have to do my stabilization effects in Videodub for now and import the clips, what a pain!

Brad: from version 10 to 11 they simplified the options of this feature of vegas, but for me it was a bad choice. To turn off the stabilization just bypass the plug-in in MediaFx window. Here I encountered flicker in the rendered mpg file. In version 10 was great.

I have the same problem. It does not work correctly in Vegas 11. Sometimes I cannot even press Apply. And whatever I do – in Vegas 10 this stabilization is MUCH better. I am back to Vegas 10.
