SRT file lost but captions still appear in Premiere. Can I extract?
I had a drive crash with the SRT file but the premiere project still shows the timeline and the captions appear in full in the “captions” window. Is there ANY CHANCE that I could extract and export this back into an SRT file? I really don’t want to have to retype all the subs for a 2 hour movie.

Try to export as SRT.
