My Color Preferences is set to Adobe RGB
I have a batch of jpeg files with the sRGB profile which I want to convert to RGB.
What I want the action to do is when the Embedded Profile Mismatch dialog box comes up change the option to
Convert Colors to the Working Space. Then save it as a PSD file.
My problem is I believe I have to start an action with an open file, which I cannot do because the Mismatch box comes up first.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I have saved actions as droplets onto which you drag and drop files to process in Photoshop. You might still get the mismatch window if the default is set to a different color space, so why not set the preference in PS to match the current embedded value and then run the action?

I thought if I set the Color Preference to sRGB then ran an action to save as PSD files they would still have the sRGB color profile.
