Do you use sRGB or Rec. 709 when working with compositing, and why?
I personally prefer to linearize my working space to create more realistic blendings, DoP lights etc. However, I’m always hesitating which of these color profiles to use.
    Any ideas?

sRGB and Rec 709 are very similar, except for a slight difference, mainly in the shadows.

It will not make a material difference whether you use sRGB or Rec 709 as your working space. Best practice suggests setting your working space to match your output.

Which profile would you recommend when I’m unsure which one to use? I’m creating films just for fun.

Also, which one does Adobe Premiere Pro use?

Use Rec. 709; that’s what Premiere assumes.
