Squiggly Text and Animation
Hi. Im kinda a new to After Effects and was wondering how to do this animation. Ive googled it but there has been no info on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Looks like hand drawn cels to me. Nice work, too.
We just had a short discussion a few days ago, try scrolling down. There are any number of filters or expressions you can apply to artwork to get this feel. But if you look closely at the best examples of this technique, you’ll see the wiggles loop. I like that but others prefer a more random effect. That stylistic decision is crucial to determining workflow.bogiesan

looks VERY hand drawn to me. If not hand drawn I wouldn’t be surprised if he used the same techniques 2d cel animators use. Draw a few frames and loop those suckers, or just keep your lines loose when drawing each frame sequentially, and intentionally try to NOT be precise.
