Activity Forums Compression Techniques Squeeze – how to apply global crop

  • Squeeze – how to apply global crop

I’m using Sorensen Squeeze 5.0.4.6 I have 16:9 source material that I want to crop to 4:3 as I compress to WMV. But I don’t want to center the crop. I do want the shift in the crop to be identical for a big batch of files, but I can’t seem to find a way to:

    1. Change the horizontal position of the crop on the deinterlace/crop filter when it is global position.

    or

    2. Move the autocrop/deinterlace filter from a specific file in my batch list(that I CAN do the horizontal shift on) into the global position.

Is there another way I haven’t thought of, or is there some way to successfully accomplish one of the above tasks? I’m very new to Squeeze, so I may be overlooking something that would be obvious to an experienced user. Thanks for any help!
