Squeeze 4.3.3 / Flip4mac
Having to re-install all software on my G5 and was wondering if anyone is using Squeeze 4.3.3 yet. I also see that Flip4Mac is up to 2.2 I had issues with version 2.0 of flip4Mac and needed to downgrade to 1.06 to work with Squeeze 4.2. Anyone have some input on which versions seem to be stable?

I am looking at getting Flip4Mac’s newly aquired “Episode” for compression needs. It was previously known as Compression Master (by Popwire?), and I have heard good things about it.

Current release version of Flip4Mac is 2.1.0.33. It works well with Squeeze 4.3.3. Flip4Mac still has a general issue with 2 Pass VBR encodes though. 1.0.6 has no problem with 2 Pass VBR.
Episode is a great app. Steep learning curve but it does almost everything and does it well.
