I need to take a 16:9 image and squeeze it onto a DVCAM 4:3 format. I want to squeeze it to tape so when I play it back I can have it unsqueezed by the 16:9 monitor.

I can’t seem to find the setting or filter to tell FCP to export a squeezed version.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    Hi Mike,
The Composite video out of the VTRs is unsqueezed. Is the monitor who have to make it Anamorphic.
So just put your 16×9 clip in a 16×9 sequence and print to video.
