Gentlemen, i’m seeking some advice. I want to make a video cube. All my clips are 720 x 480 dv. I assume all my clips need to be square in dimension(480 x 480 maybe)but i can’t seem to get Vegas to render square and crop or strech the frame. I get the black bars…that i dont want. I may be going at it wrong. I would appreciate suggestions.

Well, Ed will probably jump in here and tell you how to set the output to do what you want.

But, aside from Vegas, how are you making your cube? I would do it in LightWave, and use Front Projection mapping to project the video clips on the cube’s faces. Cropping would be taken care of automatically.

I assume that you are using 3D Track Motion to build the cube. Turn off Lock Aspect Ratio on the Track Motion toolbar and you can drag or type in whatever dimensions you want.
