Ok .. I want that effect of a spot light shinning from the back through text. I have the text kinda block and it is trasparent through the middle of each letter. I nned to creat a spot light that wiwll shine from behind it through the letters.

Is there a simple plug in or tutorial you can point me to. It is kinda like the volumizing light but I don’t want it from above but straight from behind.

Also CC Lighburst and CC Light Rays.

But for a quickie volumetric I really like Blur and Sharpen>CC Radial Fast Blur. Put it on a duplicate of your text layer, move the “Center” as needed, then drop the Opacity of the layer.

To get a little shimmer (like in Shine) put a little wiggle on Center or Amount (Copy the expression, Alt-Click the stopwatch, Paste):

    wiggle(2,4)

Change the Amplitude (the 2) or Frequency (the 4) as needed.
